This policy describes the principal personal-data processing associated with the FactRated website.

1. Website access and technical logs

When you access FactRated, our hosting/application infrastructure may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser/user-agent information, response status and security/logging information.

These logs are used for service delivery, security, troubleshooting and operational reliability. Retention is limited according to the purpose and the configured operational logging policy.

2. Google Analytics 4

FactRated uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website and its tools are used. Analytics can process information about page views, interactions, device/browser characteristics, approximate location derived by the provider and other analytics identifiers according to Google's implementation and settings.

FactRated does not intentionally send contact-form messages, raw/free-form product-search text, Feedback Hub message/category/attachment content, email addresses, names or other directly identifying user-submitted content to Google Analytics.

The Google Analytics measurement identifier is configured centrally and can be changed without rewriting the site.

3. Google Ads and advertising

FactRated includes the Google Ads tag for measurement/configuration purposes.

Google AdSense advertising is prepared but may be disabled until the required advertising/consent configuration is activated. When AdSense is enabled, advertising services can process identifiers and device/browser information in accordance with Google's products, user choices and applicable consent settings.

FactRated is designed so advertising and consent behavior can be controlled centrally. Where consent is required, the site may use a certified consent-management platform compatible with the relevant Google products.

4. Contact form and email

If you contact FactRated, we process the information you provide, such as your reply email address and message, in order to read and respond to the request and to prevent abuse.

Contact mail is delivered using the configured Premium ADV/IONOS email service. Do not send passwords or sensitive information through the contact form.

5. Feedback Hub

FactRated may provide a feedback button connected to the Premium ADV Feedback Hub. The site operator can enable or disable the widget centrally; when the local feature is disabled, the site does not load the Feedback Hub widget assets or make widget network requests.

If you submit feedback while the feature is enabled, the Hub can process the category, message, page/context information and any optional attachment you deliberately submit, according to the widget configuration in effect at the time. Feedback is used to diagnose problems, evaluate suggestions and improve the service.

6. Cookies and local storage

FactRated and integrated services may use cookies or browser storage for functions such as analytics, user preferences, consent state or other features actually enabled in production.

The exact behavior can change as the certified consent-management configuration and advertising features are activated.

7. Product-data and image providers

FactRated retrieves product information server-side from external public or authorized product-data services. Normal browsing does not require users to authenticate to those sources.

Private product-source access tokens are not exposed in displayed product images. External asset delivery may result in a request to the relevant content provider when technically required by the authorized integration.

8. Legal bases and purposes

Depending on the processing and applicable law, FactRated may process information because it is necessary to provide the requested service, to pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement, to respond to a user's request, or on the basis of consent where consent is required.

9. Service providers and international processing

FactRated uses hosting, email, analytics, advertising and other technical providers. Some providers may process information in countries outside the user's country. Their applicable contractual/data-transfer mechanisms and privacy terms govern their processing together with applicable law.

10. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, operational/security requirements and applicable legal obligations.

Because different logs, contact requests and feedback records can have different operational lifecycles, FactRated does not state a single universal retention period unless one is actually configured and verified.

11. Your rights

Depending on applicable data-protection law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent.

To make a privacy request, use the FactRated contact page or contact Premium ADV at the address above. We may need to verify that a request relates to you before acting on it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when FactRated's functionality, providers or legal requirements change. The current version will be published here with the updated date.
